It can, yes. In sendmail, you add an additional header that you then
filter on to stop such loops. I'm not sure how you would do it in
IMail.
One simple method would be to change the FROM line to read something
other than your account (like "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"). Any replies
should go to that account, which you would not put an autoresponder
on.
