>I've implemented it and still am getting plowed with spam.
First question: Is any spam getting caught? If no spam is getting caught, something
may not be set up correctly.
Second question: What tests are you running? If you want to immediately reduce your
spam by about 50%, you can use the BADHEADERS test. This quick test will check the
headers of the E-mail for RFC violations that are common in spam. This test is
especially useful because it can only generate a false positive if someone is using a
broken E-mail client.
You can catch about 80%-90% of all spam by combining the BADHEADERS test with the
SPAMHEADERS test (headers that are legal, common to spam, but rare in legitimate mail)
and the BADROUTING test (which checks for highly inefficient routing common to spam,
such as going from the U.S. to China back to the U.S.). Those two extra tests may
catch a small amount of legitimate mail, so you might want to use a header or subject
warning so the user can filter as desired on their end.
