If you are running W2K, use MS's SMTP (it comes with the OS license).  I 
don't remember if it was included with NT4.

We use it for two backup spoolers (MX20 & MX30).  It can also be easily 
configured to provide backup spooling for your customers who run their own 
LAN - their MX20 & MX30, as well.
