Hi-
We am running Imail 6.0. We have a customer that wants us to be a backup
mail server for them in case their main server goes down. From my
understanding of the Imail documentation, I have to add his mail server to
the "Relay Mail for [Addresses]" option in SMTP security, in order for imail
to relay to him. Currently we are using the "Relay For Local Users" option.
Although this is not the most secure, we have found it is easiest for the
customers to setup their mail clients if they just use our SMTP server and
don't have to mess around with authentication or find out their ISPs mail
server.
My question is, is there any way to "Relay for Local Users" and relay for my
customers box? (And setting Relay for Anyone isn't a choice :) ). If not the
only solution I see is to set Relay for Addresses and notify all our
customers to either use their ISPs SMTP server, or use SMTP AUTH.
