Salvador,
Probably some Aliases of the List type with more than 50 email addresses, or
nested aliases that expand to more than 50 addresses.
Look at the messages in the Queue. If Message size is zero, 'Remove' that
message from the Queue. If no To: addresses, 'Remove' those, too.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Too many SMTP.EXE processes running.
I am running Imail web server 5.0 and our file server is running Windows NT
4.0. Every morning we have to restart the server because the CPU utilization
is close to 100%. No mail can be send/received before the restart. I have
noticed that there are between 20 and 25 SMTP.EXE processes running in the
Task Manager. Some of them have from 30% to 40% of CPU time. Could you
please tell me if there is a misconfiguration in the Imail software?
Thanks.
