Hi Everyone,
I'm having another interesting mail problem. We are running IMail 6.06 Pop3
and Web-Messaging only, with all the latest patches. Recently some users
have been complaining about blank email messages. I talked with IPSwitch
tech support and the only thing they could tell me was that it was because
the messages had no text in the body and had an attachment, and that it's a
bug in Microsoft Outlook. After investigating further I found that these
messages could be read fine on my personal machine and through web
messaging, and that there is text in the bodies. It seems that the people
having the problem with blank messages had all upgraded to IE6. Has anyone
else come across this one yet?
I wonder if IPSwitch is planning to make there web messaging interface
usable. It's not much good if it can't communicate with other mail programs
or support attachments correctly. When I was talking to the sales dept. many
months ago they made reference to Version 7 and how it was just around the
corner. We're all still waiting.
