Matt, I've not experimented with changing the data in an external DB, so don't know all the ramifications of varying the data in each field. I do know that you can change the USERDIR field to point to a different path, one for another user and email for both addresses will appear in one mailbox. In that case, you would create 2 users, both having the same USERDIR. Looking only at the names for each field in an external DB, it would appear that your solution should work, but I don't _know_ that it will. But now that I look at the registry for a user, the MAILADDR field (shown there) is the users 'return address' shown as the 'Reply To:' address in IMail Administrator. So I would say your suggestion won't work as you expect!! All you are changing is the users Reply To: address and that is used only by Web Messaging, afaik. If i set the userid and the mailaddr to different names like userid = test and maiaddr [EMAIL PROTECTED] will IMail recieve the mail directed for [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put it in the test userid box > > > > > > > ________________________________________________________________ > Sent via the WebMail system at lohrtech.com > > > > > > Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html > to be removed from this list. > > An Archive of this list is available at: > http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ > Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
