If moving the images to another server made the problem worse, then it isn't an IMail 
problem.

IMail isn't a "real webserver", but that isn't the issue for you.  The issue for you 
is whether or not IMail can act as a webserver in the ways you need it to.  And, it 
should be able to do that.  If you have high volumes, there may be some issues to 
tackle, though.
