I have a friend demoing Imail 6.06. He has a dynamic
IP address which does not have a domain name attached
to it. He wants to use a forwarding service (like
forevermail.com) to forward mail from his registered
domain to his dynamic IP running Imail behind a
firewall.
I know addressing mail based on IP does not follow
RFC, but he will not be giving the address out to
anyone (the forwarding account will deal with it).
Is there any way to fool Imail into accepting mail at
an ip address (i.e.: [EMAIL PROTECTED])? I know I could
set up a virtual with the outside IP but that could
confuse the firewall/router since the IP would be
bound to the router and to the NIC card.
