Repost to the list, the reply went directly to Frenando.

Fernando,

You are partially correct. The scenario is like this:
rules.ima for the domain has the following: S~FILENAME=*.EXE:ADMINHOLD

Message is received with an exe attachment. The rule says to move that
message to the adminhold box for that account. You have a forward file
(adminhold.fwd See KB Document IM-20000919-DM01) that says forward this
mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (or whatever name you want) and the message is
forwarded to a central location for review.

This will place the messages and the attached files into the account called
adminhold.

If there is not a forward file in the users directory, then it will be sent
to a sub folder in that users folder called adminhold.

There have been posts to this list before about batch files that will copy
the fwd file to all users folders for a domain, to make the rule work OK.

A variation of this process is defined in the following KB document
IM-19980116-DD08. (Dusty's SPAMBOX messages)

In the archives, I found the post for the creation of a batch file to copy
the fwd file to all users directory.

Thanks to MadScientist for the input.

Hope this explains it better.

Mike
