User's Guide page 72, Number 8, Third Paragraph.
I quote, "If this rule is for a host, in the "send to the mailbox" box, enter the user ID to which messages meeting the rule criteria will be sent.".

I tried that... created a user ID called "spam", now imail is creating a "spam" folder in each user folder that meets the criteria instead of sending it to the account "spam".

I don't want to send it to "NUL", at least not yet...  Does anybody know if IpSwitch is going to fix this?  Does any body have an EASY way to send to an account instead of creating new mailboxes all over the place?

This is something that, in my opinion, needs to be fixed, created or whatever ASAP!

After an hour on the phone, half of which I was on hold, the tech told me that the book is wrong.  To bad... it shouldn't be.

user ID should read mailbox

All you need do fix your situation is add a spam.fwd file to each user's directory, EXCEPT to that of user "spam".  Within the spam.fwd file (which is a simple text file) add the following text:  [EMAIL PROTECTED] replacing yourdomain.com with your domain of course.

Doing a simple search using rules spam on the knowledge base turned up this:

It never hurts to check the knowledge base before posting a problem here.
