depends what kind of DNS you intend to run. If caching and recursive
lookups, then you�ll need some decent memory. It doesn�t take a powerful
machine. 100�s of queries/second are pretty easy to support with middling hw.
The question is more of what do you have as a machine and what type of DNS
do you want to run?
BIND 8.2.4 for Win32 should be out this weekend, no vulnerabilities, just bugs.
