David & Dustin,

I had a long series of messages earlier this Spring on "invisible mail." I
described this as mail that arrives at the server, but is not downloaded by
IMAP to the users' client (usually Outlook Express). In our case, we were
running IMail 4.07, which is old. I upgraded to 6.06 with all the latest
patches, and haven't seen the problem since. However, while I was
investigating this problem, I received a lot of responses from other people
with the same (or very close) problem, and most of them were not running
such an old version of IMail. So it's possible that you have the same
problem; you can see my earlier messages by searching on "invisible" in the
archives.

Unfortunately, I have never seen Ipswitch acknowledge this problem. Either
they view it as unimportant, or they want to avoid legal liability issues by
pretending ignorance. Either way, they have been ZERO help in resolving
this.

Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Ben Bednarz
