Here's a snippit I've used to send mail with Imail1.exe
$imail1exe = "c:\\imail\\imail1.exe"; # the location of imail1 on this
system
$sentby = "postmaster\@yourdomain.com";
$subject = "Undeliverable message (generated by script)";
$messagefile = "c:\\imail\\spool\\email.txt"
system("$imail1exe -u $sentby -s $subject -f $messagefile");

Subject: [IMail Forum] Sending mail from command line with imail1.exe
and Perl - Help!
I have a perl script that collects some information and then emails it to a
particular person based on a pull-down. Since I am just building our Imail
server so I'm still trying to get Imail to send mail from the command line.
Here is my line of Perl code.
system("e:\\imail\\imail1 -u $FROMEMAIL -f email.txt -t $RECIPIENT -s
\"Information Request\"");
I can send mail by hand from the DOS prompt just fine, however it doesn't
work when I do it from the web page. Anyone have any ideas on why not?
I've looked at the log file in Imail and see nothing that even looks like it
tried to send.
