I'm in the process of setting up our new IMail server and would like to use
the LDAP service to make it easy for our users to look up people throughout
the company.

Has anyone configured Outlook 97/98/2k to work well with the LDAP server in
either IMO or CW modes of Outlook.

I have it working with my O2K configured in CW mode but I have two issues.
The first is that it doesn't automatically bring back an entire list of
everyone, which I would like it to do. (I have enabled on the server "Allow
Search All" and set the max to 500 entries) Also, when I do query up a
name, it doesn't give the full name or much detail. I looked in the KB and
found IM-19990730-DM02 that talks about LDAP w/ Outlook 98/2000 but it is a
little criptic and not very detailed.

For example, where do I make this change:

"A customer reports: to solve this problem (using IMail 6.06) I added the
line "ref=display-name" after "ref=CommonName". This makes (in my
understanding) IMail answer to requests of "display-name" (coming from
Outlook) with the common name."

Thanks for any help you can provide!
