My company is currently developing an online free-based e-mail application using
IMAIL's POP/IMAP4 capabilities. Our application is as follows:
Application Engine: IMAIL
Back-end: SQL 2000 w/XML enabled
Presentation Layer: VB.NET, ADO.NET
We call it, POGiX: Personal Online Internet (X)change
We decided to go with Ipswich�s platform simply for its ease of use and fast
deployment. As we complete this component slated for release to the public this
summer, we plan to add additional components, such as Chat capabilities, file exchange
and total mobile communication.
