What I ended using was a list tool at www.analogx.com.... it allows you to
remove duplicate emails..... I ran it on both files, then saved the new one.
The only downside was that on the one file that listed the email address and
the name, it replaced the names with the full email address... so the file
was as follows.
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Which was acceptable for me since I had to get this done. So once it was
done, I just sent an email out to my list , and stated that if they wanted
to unsubscribe that they would have to use their email address in both
fields.
The only bummer of the whole thing, was that I also had to add a listbot
list into the same list, and listbot only exports 1 email address per line,
so i had to modify the second file and add the <> and name..... thank god it
was only an 800 email address list, but it still sucked!
