Any of the "gateway" type products should work as
well as they would with any SMTP server. I have to support Trend, Mcafee,
and Norton SMTP scanners, of those I would probably lean toward
Trend. Like anything else, they all have their own set of quirks,
annoyances and strengths.
However, for iMail my first choice would be
Declude. I can't say enough good about it. For as little as $515.00
($495 for Declude + $20 for f-prot), you can have scanning for unlimited
users.
One thing though - Declude needs a command line
scanner to call, and Norton is a TERRIBLE command line scanner. This is
probably intentional on their part, but whatever the reason - save yourself some
headache and get f-prot or mcafee command line.
