Hi all and especially Ipswitch staff,

Am I the only one experiencing a problem with Ipswitch's IMail Forum list
server options? I'm trying to change from digest mode to standard mode and
am not having any luck though I've tried a few methods. This has been a
persistent problem for some time, although it worked fine a few months ago.

Naturally, I first went to
http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html and entered my full name
and current e-mail address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and got a message from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] asking for confirmation, which I replied to. The
answer came back from [EMAIL PROTECTED] saying:

"You weren't subscribed (either digest or standard mode) to IMail_Forum or a
groupserver error occurred!"

with a subject line reading:

"Unsuccessful Set Mode Command"

Okay. Although I am positive that I successfully unsubscribed from the list
using my former address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and successfully
re-subscribed using [EMAIL PROTECTED] several months ago, I figured I
should try to change mode using my former (and still valid) CompuServe
address, again using http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html.
Same result; I got a message from [EMAIL PROTECTED] asking for
confirmation, which I replied to. Again, the answer came back from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] saying the exact same thing as mentioned
above.

Hmmm. So I thought of trying a different way. I sent e-mail from both my
CompuServe and Videotron addresses to both
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with the following in the text body of my
message:

set mode standard IMail_Forum

No subject line and no signature; just trying to be clean. I didn't get any
reply from either addressee. Now, I know that some Ipswitch staff (hi Daniel
and Dave!) are monitoring this forum -- out of good will and probably not
during weekends! -- and I hope that someone at Ipswitch can help me out. I
know that it is bad form to post such a message to the entire list but I'm
stuck and running out of options. I apologize for this.

The bottom line, despite the various tests, is whether the "automated"
method using http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html is somehow
broken, as it seems to be for me.

Any help would be gratefully received!

Guy
