If you mean older messages, immsgexp.exe is supposed to do the job, but
doesn't work for me. Per support, they know it doesn't work for some. They
didn't present much hope for a fix. There is also equivalent functionality
in the GUI, but it doesn't work either.
If you mean old files out of the spool directory, then isplcln.exe works, but
doesn't know about months. If you want a 10 day retention in the directory,
all will work well until the 1st of the month, at which point it will likely
delete all files from the preceding month regardless of age.
I'm hoping (but not expecting) these will be corrected in 7.0 now that it has
been announced.
