Title: RE: [IMail Forum] IMail Server 7.0 Upgrade Confusion
I would tend to agree... the contract requirement for upgrades seems kinda greedy...

Unfortunately, it's also very true.  We've decided not to renew our contract, which does not expire until January 2002, and will be evaluating other products to potentially replace IMail.

Now that's a brilliant thing to say on an IPSwitch listserv.

I have no contract. I was going to renew but since I found that we are getting Imail 7 anyway because there was no major release during our year we decided not to renew.

I used to use Tech support in the beginning but now I have a handle on things and the Tech reps many times don't know as much as the people on this list.  Their knowledgebase also answers most questions.
