POP and IMAP are just 2 different delivery methods. IMAP and POP coexist
peacefully on one server (they use different ports). Basically, if you turn
on IMAP in IMail, you can start setting up the client software to use that
instead of POP. Be forewarned though, this can take up a LOT of space. I use
IMAP with my home ISP so that I can access the mail both at home and work. I
see my space usage crest to about 70 Meg if I don't keep an eye on cleaning
it out. You do NOT have to shut off POP to use IMAP. Your current POP
customers will work exactly as they currently are.
