Hello,
I am not using Imail but am sending mail to users served by an imail
server. If I send an email to a user in an Imail server and request a
DSN the message I get back is bad.
There seem to be 2 problems with this mail.
Firstly the 'From' or 'Sender' header is missing from the message.
RFC822 requires a From header, or if missing, a Sender header so this
breaks the RFC. RFC1894 states that the From header 'SHOULD' state an
address, however, the message should at least contain a Sender if not a
>From so that it conforms to RFC822.
Secondly the Content-Type:multipart/report is missing from the DSN.
This
means that the default content type of the message is text/plain.
However, what follows is actually a correctly formatted DSN but as the
MIME Content-Type is missing there is no way to tell that it is a DSN.

Note, the end of the headers come after the 'X-OriginalArrivalTime'
header. There is a blank line there.
As the message Content-Type is missing there is no boundary specifier it
is not possible to parse the message correctly.
Our mail system has received several hundred DSNs of this type. Is
there something in Imail that can force a sender address.
