If your services are mission-critical, I personally wouldn't recommend
using DNS round-robin. Depending on SOA's, it can take a long time for a
changed record to propagate out over the net (especially important if
your clients are international).
'Failover' in the true sense isn't possible using simple DNS
round-robin. There are plenty of hardware-based solutions (Foundry
ServerIron SLB's as an example, www.foundry.com) that provide far
superior methods of load balancing, failover, offsite DR, etc etc. I'm
sure there are plenty of hosting companies offering similar solutions.

We are looking at different registrars to transfer our 30+ domains.
Some
companies are offering "DNS Round Robin" services that supposedly load
balance web sites. We don't have the need to load balance sites,

would be very interested in having reduced functionality "fail over" web
sites at another IP address that could step in if the request to the
primary
web server failed. Is this possible/expensive and provided by any
registrars? Who is the best? BuyDomains.com and BulkRegistar.com are
both
