With Imail version 6.06 I was using Norton Antivirus for Gateways to scan
incoming and outgoing messages. I had the box checked under the SMTP
properties of Imail to send all remote mail through a gateway and had the
NAV server's ip address specified. After upgrading to Imail 7.02, all of my
mail messages are being sent directly from the Imail server. I removed the
gateway information from the SMTP screen, stopped and started the SMTP
service, then put the gateway info back in it's place. I again stopped and
started the SMTP service and finally rebooted the server, all to no avail.
Incoming mail still goes through the NAV box and is delivered to Imail just
fine, so I don't think it's a communication problem between the servers.
Any ideas?
