To All, I'm having problem with IMAP on NT4 Sp6a. When I use OE/Netscape Mail connecting to our IMAP server, the session always timeout. No email gets downloaded, and no folder gets created. This happened after an upgraded from IMail 5 to IMail 6.06 w/ hotfix. (Not brave enough to use v7 for production yet). I've checked the following: 1) User can check email using POP. Not a single problem with POP service. Only IMAP. 2) I sniffed my PC connection at port 143. I can see the welcome mesg comimg from IMail server. But email client does not send back login/password info. The session didn't get that far. 3) I did a telnet port 143 test from my PC to server following <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg36645.html>. I've gone thru login/password step, with the server returning "OK LOGIN completed". 4) No firewall is used. And my ISP won't let me touch their router. Any clue is much appreciated.
