Yes, you can.

That's because Ipswitch doesn't document the method of sending E-mail via a
spool file. It isn't recommended to send mail this way. Since it isn't
documented, and I don't believe many people send mail this way, you do so
at your own risk. But, it should be relatively safe.
In order to send mail via the spool, you need to have 2 files (one with the
actual E-mail including every header, the other using IMail's proprietary
recipient file format) in the spool directory. You already know the naming
(the key being to have the "data" file (actual E-mail) begin with "D" and
the "recipient" file begin with "Q". Then, you can either wait for the
queue run to pick up the file and send it (every 20 minutes or so depending
on your settings), or you can call the smtp32.exe process with the file
name including path (this isn't documented either, though, if I recall
correctly).
The key here is figuring out the recipient file format. If you look at
several of the "Q" files, you should be able to figure it out. Although
it's proprietary and undocumented (read: Do This At Your Own Risk), it's
pretty easy to figure out.
