Has anyone run into the problem that Imail does not append the
@domainname.com to the end of local addressees when an outgoing message is
also addressed to someone on the internet (example: username of fred
changes to [EMAIL PROTECTED])?

This causes a problem if the addressee on the internet replies to all
addressees on the message, as the local addressees either cannot be
delivered due to lack of the @domainname or the domain name of the
internet addressees mail server adds their own @domainname to the end of
the local addressees. A specific case I have seen is when some local users
were on the message as CCs.

Is there a way to use the rules to add the domain to addresses when
messages leave the mail server destined for the internet so that if the
addressee does a reply to all that the messages can be delivered. I called
Imail support and was told that it wasn't possible and that a fully
qualified address would have to be used on every message.

We are using Eudora Pro 4.2 as our email client and Imail 6 as our mail server.

I have been told that sendmail has rules that can be used to take append
domain names onto outgoing mail.
