I've got a strange one here. Haven't chnaged anything on the
server since I updated Imail etc a month or so ago.
Imail 6+ all patches, and Declude 1.23 with Netshield.
The cleint did chaneg ISP's about 2 weeks ago, everything seemed
okay, but today I did chnage all the DNS server info on the server and
Imail just to make sure. They're own DNS zone is fine. Hasn't changed
or anything.
Here's the thing. All internal mail is sent/received okay.
Mail can pass out to anyone okay. I am able to send mail in to Imail
from our office (exchange 2000) and hotmail just fine. There are other
domains that can also send in, but I seem to be getting this (below) in
the log files for a few domains. This started on Monday, so they
figure, by the way. I am not sure if these messages are just boucing
around or not, but here's a sample....
[INTERNAL IP] connect 207.61.168.3 port 42846
20010711 122304 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (000B01E4) [207.61.168.3]
EHLO hummer.csolve.net
20010711 122304 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (000B01E4) [207.61.168.3]
MAIL From:< [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >
20010711 122304 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (000B01E4) [207.61.168.3]
RCPT To:< [EMAIL PROTECTED]
<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >
And that's it. No other info. It just shows that. As I said,
I can send to the recipient from my accounts, so it doesn't look like
its a bad mbx file. And, I can send to this home account from their
office (its a home account sending to his work account in the above
example).
Any idea's? The log is just a little vague I'm affraid.
