Is this new to v. 7.xx?  In previous versions that was a supported character
in user names.

"UserID  User Identification (UserID) may be from 3 to 30 characters long
and must consist of alphanumeric, '_','-' and periods. "

The problem may be the "-" in the name.  By default, IMail uses this as a
mailbox delimiter, so the user name would really be "freiwilligenagentur",
and the E-mails would be going to a mailbox named "marburg".
