The Java-based spell checker Ipswitch is shipping is not perfect, but no
web-based spell checker is, to my knowledge. It's better than the ActiveX
spell checker we bundle with the Killer templates for IMail 6, since IE
and Word are not required client-side.

I don't understand that... which X are you hitting that causes you to lose
the entire message? I tried to reproduce the problem, but couldn't.

This *is* an annoyance. The web prefs are stored in the registry, and you
cannot set a default value. If you use an external db for your users,
along with a signup utility like our EZSignUp product, it's trivial to
pre-set the FLAGS field, where the web prefs are stored, with the settings
of your choosing.
