There is a list available free to members which is updated daily located at
www.postfixgate.com. Membership is also free. The list is to block
SPAM/UCE. You can append it to your existing list if you have one.
Thanks to one of the contributing developers the kill.lst distributed for
IMail users will now have an @ symbol in front of domain names in the
kill.lst which is the proper format to block an entire domain name.
Spammers like to randomly generate user names for bogus domains which makes
for a lot of entries, but when we see a repetitive pattern the entire domain
name is block, and now it will be properly formatted for IMail users.
Thanks Nathan.
We will also be offering a program/script that will use a list you may have
of IPs, domains, and e-mail addresses you would like to remove from the
daily updated Postfixgate Anti-Spam database before copying the files to
your server. This gives each person local control to keep out listings that
would have a negative affect on themselves, and their customers.
The newly reformatted IMail kill.lst file is now posted.
