Declude is the best developed, most usefull product that I have ever used...
It is wonderful...
</blank stare>
Ever seen the Manchurian Candidate?
But seriously, I am a real person using declude on a fairly busy mail server
(couple o' hundred thousand per day) and although the server uses a lot more
resources than I did before switching to declude (average load actually
tripled but we were growing at the same time) I wouldn't go without it now.
Most people seem to be able to use it without a major performance hit, but I
host several mailing lists and have quite a few customers who just can't
help themselves when it comes to email attachments!
There you have it, real person (valid SS number and all) who swears by it.
(Scott I'll expect my check by next monday)

Declude is a very clever approach. It exploits the fact that most Imail
servers are doing basically nothing so have the capacity available to do
AV, even compounded with the inefficiencies of a disk-resident (not memory
resident) scanner. Plus it appears that Scott and his people have added
some clever bits in their software and add-on tools.
I have no doubt that the endorsements are genuine.
Whats your problem? What motivation do you think would people have to
make false endorsements?
