The best way is to use an IIS header redirect. Open the email.florida.com website's properties, then instead of pointing it to a directory, point it to a URL, like so: http://mailserver.florida.com:8383 Hit apply, and test by entering email.florida.com in a browser. The only downside to this is that folks will still see the non-standard port, but at least they won't have to type it. On a related note, is it just me, or is anyone else annoyed that when entering a non-standard port in IE, you MUST prepend the "http://"; to the URL? Netscape handles this so much better. With IE, people sometimes think your site is down if they try to go to mail.domain.com:8383 without the protocol. Even the IE6 beta has this annoying behavior.
