Randy,

That is, unfortunately, a common experience with IMail's web messaging.
Usually, it is the result of an incorrect path setting to the domain's web
directory, so scrutinize your top directory path and web directory path
settings in your IMail admin console. Make sure there are no trailing
slashes on those paths.

Beyond that, it seems that IMail isn't optimized for serving gifs.
Browsers don't seem to cache them too well, and if there are too many on
the path, many end up with red-x's. That's why in our Killer templates, we
implemented a feature where you can serve all the gifs from a REAL
webserver (on the same or different box), by editing just one line of
code. This speeds up our Killer interface by about 2X, allows browsers to
cache the gifs, and takes much load off IMail's web messaging service. To
do this trick with stock Ipswitch templates, you'll need to find and edit
every src parameter of every image tag in the templates. A quick search I
did just now revealed 402 matches for "src=" in the templates.
