If the cert is still listed as installed, probably the only thing you need
to do is tell IIS to run all SSL connections on Port 443.
Fire up IIS
Pick the virtual web site in question, clicking on Properties
If a cert is live on this domain, the Web Site tab's SSL Port setting will
not be gray'ed out. Put '443' in there and you're done.
If this doesn't work, or you want actual step-by-step dirs (there is no
'fire up IIS' menu choice anywhere) post a followup and I'll go for details.
Cheers,

Subject: [IMail Forum] OT SSL in IIS 2000
Real quick. How do you install ssl on win2000? I know how to go in and
install the certificate but does something need to be installed before that?
I don't have W2000 IIS box and I have a co-lo client who got hit with
CodeRed and his SSL does not work now. Looked in the help file but could not
find anything other then how to install the cert. The cert is showing it is
still installed.
TIA
