Larry,
I assume you are referring to the "Flags" key in
this directory, here is what I've found. (the values are in Hex)
Nothing = 0 Account access disabled = 1 Hide
from information services = 2 Cannot change password = 4 Allow web access = 80 Host Administrator = 100 iMail
Administrator = 200
List Administrator = 400 User can't modify LDAP
attributes = 1000
All you need to do is add the values of the options
you want together, and you should be set.
In your case you would actually change this value
to 500 (plus any other options you want), and you should be set.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Imail 7.03 and
Registry
Hello
list,
Does anyone or has anyone ever been successful in changing a users registry
entry to add the Host and List Administrator options without having to use the
Imail Administrator to add those? I have a batch file that use the
command line prompt to add the users, create the domain entry and create an
alias. I want to add the registry change in with this or create a vbs
file to make the registry changes, so I do not have to add the Host and List
Administrator options manually. Is there anybody else out there that
does this? I am wondering about the hexdecimal value that is located
in
computername\hkey_local_machine\software\ipswitch\imail\domains\domain_folder\users\username
. I can't figure out if I need to add a 1 and 4 into the key or add them
together? Any idea's would be much appreciated. Thanks in
advance!
