That will certainly prevent them from sending mail, until they come from
another IP and/or use another return address.

Be careful about this one. You'll get listed at
http://www.rfc-ignorant.org for doing that, and lots of mail servers will
not accept your mail. It violates the RFCs.
By checking the "Refuse NULL <> Senders" option, you are refusing bounce
messages and delivery status notifications. If someone at your domain
sends E-mail to an incorrect address at another domain, that domain will
send a bounce message to your user. But, since you are refusing to accept
that bounce message, it's going to get sent to the postmaster at the remote
domain. He's then stuck dealing with your users' problems. That's why a
lot of mail servers are now refusing to accept mail from mail servers that
are set up like this.
