If it really is as described (IE you can connect to remote servers on ports 
other than 25, but can't connect to any on port 25), your customer probably 
needs to talk to his ISP (many of whom are now blocking port 25 access, but 
usually only on dialup lines).  Either that, or possibly a misconfigured 
firewall.
