There's a GREAT utility that I've used to get around such things:
AutoSMTP, written by Bernard Pardo and available at bpardo.com for a
small shareware license (I am not affiliated with him, blah blah blah,
but he's got a good thing going).
AutoSMTP is a TCP port reflector that runs as a service. It sets
itself up on port 25, and you set all of your SMTP servers in OE, etc.
to hit localhost on 25. Then you configure it redirect your traffic to
different remote servers and ports, depending on which RAS or LAN
connection is active. So if someone has MSN dialed up, AutoSMTP will
detect that it needs to send through their servers on 25 (or through
yours on 26); when they get back to the office and are LAN-only,
AutoSMTP will detect that it should send through your server using its
private IP address.

In many cases, it's best just to switch to an ISP that provides full,
uncensored Internet access. Blocking access to port 25 is OK, if the ISP
can override it for people who have a valid need. But if they can't
override it, it's time to find another provider.
The two main problems are if you provide any support regarding E-mail (if
you can't connect to port 25, you can't diagnose problems from home or on
the road), or for travelling businesspeople who have a laptop that they use
at work and elsewhere (when they get back to the office, MSN won't let them
use the MSN mailservers).
