I'm running iMail 7.03 on NT 4.0 SP 6a. I need to route all e-mail to
another mail gateway for final delivery. This is required, because we
have anti-virus scanning on the other mail gateway, and not on iMail.
It's all necessary, because the iMail server is behind the firewall, and
cannot make direct connections to any external machines. I've tried
using the "Send all remote mail through gateway" option, but I can't
seem to get it to work properly. Here's what happens:

from iMail, I address a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Instead of iMail
immediately handing the message off to my mail gateway, it peforms a DNS
lookup, and tries all of the MX records for yahoo.com. Upon failing, it
then gives the message to the mail gateway I've specified.

Is there a way to have iMail give ALL mail to a second mail relay,
instead of trying to first deliver the message?

Thanks,

Ryan Kim
