I can put in a plug for the tech support at DataEnter. The guy is great!
We have DatEnter's Mailbeamer SMTP gateway for Microsoft Mail (trying to
convert to Imail but too many bugs in IMAP for now, crossing my fingers
that 7.04 will be better). The product is rock solid, the price was dirt
cheap, and the guy typically responded to my e-mail requests for help in
an hour or so.

Take a look at these utilities: EFS
(http://www.chimera.co.nz/efsmain.htm)
or POPBeamer (http://www.dataenter.co.at/)
Either one collects the domain's email through a POP3 connection and then
forwards it to Exchange. Your customer doesn't need an static IP. Both
are
been used by my customers with great success.
