Don't buy F-Secure just for Declude. You will just end up using the F-Secure
labeled version of F-Prot and F-Prot is much less expensive.
F-Secure command line uses the F-Prot DOS command line scanner. I believe
they also have a command-line version of the kaspersky engine as well. In
both cases command-line = DOS version. The DOS kaspersky engine is a bad
performer WRT to speed. Specifically, start-up time on AVP DOS is slow, but
actual speed after startup is good. With Declude, start-up time is critical,
as the .exe is executed for each message.
If you already have, or want to try the on-access part of F-Secure, then go
ahead. Just don't waste the $$$ for their server version if your just getting
it for Declude.
