My intent here was not to insult anyone's intelligence or any of their
choices. It was just an off topic, as indicated by my inclusion of "OT" as
has been requested in this forum, food-for-thought type of thing. I just
found it interesting that a company that has historically been
pro-Microsoft, and some have said even funded by Microsoft, is telling
everyone to run for the hills. Maybe some people will, and maybe they
already have, reconsider their choice of web server knowing that it has a
bull's-eye permanently affixed to it's back just because it's a Microsoft
product, and that Microsoft security is an oxymoron. Yes, I know and you
know the patch(es) to repel both Code Red and Nimda have been available for
some time, but we've seen how that played out. Yes people are negligent and
lazy to not patch their servers, but maybe it's because there are just too
many patches coming out too often, although I know that's not an excuse.

Please... I'm on this list to gain knowledge about IMail, not to be sent
messages telling me what I should or should not be running for a web server.
I think 99% of us on the list have been in the business long enough to be
able to decide for ourselves what we want to run on our servers.
