Thank you for your hint, Mr. Hell.
I think, I`ve solved my problem for myself.
The reason why Elsa-modems (only isdn-line) are not supported by mail2fax
is, that the capi-driver of Elsa doesn`t support fax-protocol (this was
really new for me..).
After changing the hardware (another isdn-modem)my server runs quite well.
An additional problem was the fact, that my capi-driver has to support
virtual ports assigned to real com-ports.

When I played with mail2fax quite a long time ago, I had probelms with some
modems, and others worked fine. URS worked fine, some generics did, some
didn't. I think a cheap Zoom modem worked, but I'm not 100% sure about that
(it was a couple years ago, at least).
