I am considering switching from McAfee Total Virus Defense to F-Prot based on the comments I've read on this forum and the incredible price difference. I know that everyone loves it with Declude for their e-mail scanner, but how is it on the desktop? Does it cause a major performance hit (they all do to some degree)? I still have some Pentium 100s and don't want them to become unusable.
