1 - Yes, to keep [EMAIL PROTECTED] from sending anywhere but [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2 - Since these are employee accounts, we will fire "clever users" who go around 3 - I may be buying IMGate, soon!
Thanks, Cris >Is there a way to set some user accounts to >only send and receive mail traffic within our domain ? you mean to keep MAIL FROM: localsender@ourdomain .. msgs from leaking to Internet? I don't know of any way to that with IMail. What's your objective? Cleaver users can setup anyname@anydomain, and relay through Imail to Internet, even if Imail could block localsender@ourdomain, and esp if you have "relay for addressess". Yet again, this kind of filtering can be done with IMGate, where the parameter check_sender_access somefilter will reject all MAIL FROM: localsender@ourdomain Len http://MenAndMice.com/DNS-training http://BIND8NT.MEIway.com : ISC BIND 8.2.4 for NT4 & W2K http://IMGate.MEIway.com : Build free, hi-perf, anti-abuse mail gateways Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
