Well - I can tell you that I have a simple program alias that simply copies
a message file to a different directory.  THAT program stopped working.  The
.TMP file is being created, and if I run the program manually, it picks up
the file and processes/deletes it.

After some testing, I accidentally found out, that the same program WORKS,
if I change the program alias to first call a .CMD script, which in turn
simply calls the .EXE.  (No, permissions is not the problem, not security
log entries for that).
