options. Promising ones, IMHO, are: (in no particular order)
a) Merak
b) MailSite
c) VOPmail
AFAIK all three support ODBC user databases and have "open" webmail systems
(ie, ASP-based or standards-based of some form). Pricing is on-par with
Ipswitch, I think...

A good rule of thumb with Ipswitch is to run a version behind. <grin>
