Pete

I got the same too. I have to enter both if I want to know the SMTP and POP3
Traffic.

BO
        a little weirdness.
the official host name "mail.domainname.tld" only reports POP
where as the domain name report SMTP.
        ??

Hi Pete

iMAnalyze does give usage on per domain. You just have to add the domain
names and it will do the rest. So far I've check so many different
softwares, iMAnalyze is still the best. If you manage to find others please
inform me.

Bo Wee

Hi again.
As a follow up, if their are no scripts or programs, what if any solutions
is anybody using for bandwidth totals per month per domain. This is
obviously a bandwidth billing issue, and many of you may discover that your
lower end web sites may do more bandwidth in email than web services.

Amazingly iMAnalyze will give you this information on a per user base but I
was unable to find it producing a per domain total.

Also I have used the small script domainlister and a bat file that zips
through all the logs with out having to specify each at the command line
(big time save) However after that it is still one legible .txt file for
each log and an import into excel take dreadfully long.

Atomization is the key, and I would like to hear how if your dealing with
this issue?
Pete

Howdy All.
looking for a program, To Analyze the logs produce by Imail.
really am looking for running totals screen (web Based) report for client
visualization.
Current day total, current month total, and optionally currant year total.
I have looked in to the available links in the utilities section and though
iMAnalyze comes closest it still falls short.
the other program Domain lister produces more "log files" which is fine. Is
their a web Interface say in Perl that parses these TXT files that would be,
Awesome. Anyone use AWSTATS for web logs? that's the type of Idea.
monthly totals are the most important goal.

        Thoughts, Ideas, Suggestions,
Pete

Here is the batch file that has been passed around on the list.

It is designed to keep your F-Prot definitions and executable up to
date.

I use AT to call the batch file every day.

I don't remember who originally posted it, but it works very well.

You will need to have a command line UnZip program... If you don't have
one, search google.
